This week PBS began a new series by filmmaker Ken Burns, "The National Parks: America's Best Idea".I watched the first of the six episodes last night and the imagery was absolutely stunning, even my teenage girls who can't sit still for more than 3 seconds sat there hypnotized by what was unfolding on the screen.
It makes you want to grab your camera, throw some canned goods into a backpack, and head off to the closest national park.
